Describe some of the conflicts and compromises that went into the creation of a new American government. How does the U.S. Constitution allow for citizens to “live by the principles” established in the Declaration of Independence? Describe some of the points of disagreement at the Constitutional Convention? Describe Franklins attitude toward the Constitution. Why did Franklin think that the delegates should sign the Constitution despite the fact that it was a flawed document? Do you believe that Franklin, the esteemed elder statesman of at the Convention, expected for the document to be amended or changed over the years; or kept as close to its original format? Why or why not?
