3. Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) questioned the traditional theories of leadership. LMX posited that leaders from different, even unique relationships with various employees. As LMX relationships develop supervisors and subordinates may develop into in-group and/or outgroups. First, define what these are and discuss the differences. Then, describe how you have experienced or observed such groups developing in your organization.
