Discussion Question: Following the COVID-19 Pandemic (Running roughly from January of 2020 until today), what do your feel is the future of Nursing in the United States? We have heard stories of overwhelmed Hospitals and clinics, Hospital personnel not daring to return to their families for fear of infecting them and working double shifts because of lack of qualified personnel. I think we can all agree that their efforts have been nothing short of miraculous and heroic, but what will this mean for  Nursing in the future ? Will more men and women choose this career path or will medical students steer clear of direct patient care because of the impact of a full-blown pandemic on medical workers? Feel free to do some online research and see what you come up with.
